Who's to say that the "without stimulus" numbers are even accurate? Every month, the government declares that unemployment for the previous month was "better than expected" and then the month after that, they revise the number down after everyone's forgotten. These are the same people that drove the economy into the ground in the first place. Then they give BILLIONS to the banks, AND we're still in a recession even though it's been declared over. Who's benefited from this? Follow the money, and stop believing everything on CNN.

I just became his friend on Facebook and I've been posting something contrary to almost everything he posts, along with a little something of my own here and there. I'm wondering how long it'll take to defriend me. I've already had some trouble posting as some of my posts have apparently been flagged as "offensive." lol

I am not surprised by US Congressman John Carter’s recent “red baiting” statements about President Obama.

It would seem that Congressman Carter and the GOP in general have embarked on another misconceived, fear based, campaign designed to intimidate voters into thinking that the Republicans are the saviors of our society.

I would think that most Americans who voted against Republican candidates in the last election are aware that this tactic is simply a stage technique for diverting attention from the core truths about our economy, our healthcare system and our American value system that excludes torture and promotes human rights.

I wish him well in his attempts to frighten us with ideologies from time past, but I think the old mantra of the GOP is becoming much more desperate than it is truthful.

I realize that while that info is more spiteful than hateful, it is definitely more fortuitous than intelligent, and is far less productive than just driving a sharp steel stake up the two-faced bastard's ass.

Given those facts, I would far rather you just took advantage of the link, and then refused to allow the comment.

I was wondering if you had seen this "scientific" poll that Carter is using to justify his opposition to Obama's budget?
