The House passed S 386 ("Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act") last Wednesday, by a 367-59 (86%-14%) vote. For more about what this bill does, see here. I can't find any good reason to oppose this bill -- and, in fact, every Democrat and 117 Republicans agreed that it was a good idea.
But not John Carter. He sided with the extreme minority and voted against it.
Wouldn't you like to know why? Me too.
