Nutball?

The Austin Chronicle wants to know if Rep. John Carter is a nutball.

Well, we know he's a far-right-winger. We know he spouts off like a nutjob sometimes. We know his economic proposals are a bit nutty.

Hmmm. Sounds like a nutball to me.

Vote ABC (Anyone-But-Carter) in 2010 -- let's get rid of the nutball!

  1. I am not surprised by US Congressman John Carter’s recent “red baiting” statements about President Obama.

It would seem that Congressman Carter and the GOP in general have embarked on another misconceived, fear based, campaign designed to intimidate voters into thinking that the Republicans are the saviors of our society.

I would think that most Americans who voted against Republican candidates in the last election are aware that this tactic is simply a stage technique for diverting attention from the core truths about our economy, our healthcare system and our American value system that excludes torture and promotes human rights.

I wish him well in his attempts to frighten us with ideologies from time past, but I think the old mantra of the GOP is becoming much more desperate than it is truthful.
