That's right. Just 38% of Americans have confidence in GOP leaders -- people like Rep. John Carter -- when it comes to handling the economy. And for good reason, too. After all, the GOPers have done nothing but obstruct the recovery agenda, call Obama a "communist," and propose neo-Hooverite solutions.
The real question is: Why do 38% still approve?!?
