Hmmmm. John Carter will announce next week that Southwestern University in Georgetown is going to receive a grant for $461K from the Dept. of Health and Human Services, for equipment and funding for student interns.
This is great -- I approve.
But do you have any guesses about where that money is coming from? Could it be from the stimulus bill, or an omnibus appropriations bill -- something that Carter voted against when it was originally before the House?
Is Carter -- yet again -- taking credit for securing funding in a bill that he voted against?
I wouldn't put it past him. He's done this sort of thing before.
