Good News

In the interests of even-handedness, I do try to report when John Carter is doing something that is good and praiseworthy. For example, though I point out the phoniness when Carter takes credit for securing funding in a bill that he voted against, I do still try to note that the funding in question was, indeed, a good thing to secure. (See this post, for example.)

So, following in this vein, I thought I would point out that Rep. John Carter has -- thankfully -- refrained from boarding the crazy train currently being driven by Rep. Michelle Bachmann. So long as Carter recognizes this craziness for what it is, and refrains from supporting it, we can name at least one thing to respect about him. That's good news.

But as soon as Carter's name is added to this list, we'll know for sure that he has gone around the bend.
